Prizm Gray is a comprehensive grayscale image processing software application that enhances continuous tone grayscale and color images. Images converted from microfilm, microfiche, and other grayscale or color images are optimized for legibility and file size. Prizm Gray ensures the quality of output images using confidence values to route images for automated operator exception processing.
By moving image processing to a downstream operation away from the scanner, Prizm Gray increases throughput up to 40% on high volume micrographics scanners. The efficiencies gained by using Prizm Gray generate a significant return on investment for service companies, governmental entities and corporate users.
Please Note: Prizm Gray Application provides grayscale and color image processing. ScanFix Application provides bitonal image processing. Pegasus Imaging highly recommends evaluating ScanFix Application first, unless you have an immediate need for grayscale and/or color image processing. The Prizm Gray technology is actively being upgraded by Pegasus.
